Holt, Rinehart and Winston, [1960]. hard cover. Very Good/Good. New York; Holt, Rinehart and Winston, [1960]. Hardcover with DJ. Illustrated. xii+468pp. Condition is VG in a Good dust jacket. DJ is a bit soiled, with age toning, small tears at the edges, and some nibbling in spots. The book is very clean, in bright green cloth boards, pages are unmarked and the binding is tight. It is slightly bowed. A comprehensive history of the ancient world, used as a college textbook; this copy apparently owned by a disinterested student as there are no signs of it having been read.
