After the Texas Revolution, Lungwitz who was trained in Dresden at the Royal Academy, emigrated to America and settled in Fredericksburg where he rambled the hill Country capturing the unspoiled wilderness from scenic boulders throughout the Hill Countr. (b.1813-d.1891).
