Hermann Wits was a 17th-century Dutch monastic theologian who studied systematic theology. While most of his works were written to help reconcile Johannes Cocceius's theology with orthodoxy, one of his works was 'Miscellaneorum sacrorum' – a collection of biblical commentaries and summaries on a broad variety of topics. Notable topics covered in this work include:
