About This Item
Gershom Williams' novel follows Mark as he grows up in Jamaica during its struggle for independence and is inspired by the thought of Marcus Garvey. This particular edition is in Very Good condition, with some staining to the pastedowns and some minor foxing to the tops of the pages. The dust jacket is present and is in Good condition with two small tears to the top and bottom of the front, both less that half an inch in length. This would appear to be an advanced reader copy perhaps, as included with it are a photo of the author, a slip from Exposition Press Inc. indicating the publication date of Nov 16, 1973 and requesting that reviews not be released prior to that date and a press release.
