Reprint. xxviii, 375 p.p., plus 2 p.p. ads. [51] plates of illustrations, [3 in colour, incl. frontispiece]. Bookplate of C.B. Farrar on front pastedown endpaper, with bookseller label below on bottom right corner opposite inner hinge. Spine bumped, rubbing to boards, edges. Some trimming to pages, but not affecting text or illustrations. Sporadic foxing throughout, but otherwise in good condition.
