Missoula, MT.: Pictorial Histories Pub. Co., 2004. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. Fine/Issued Without Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Paperback quarto, vi + 250 pp., frontis, maps, b/w photos & facsimiles. Timmermann fought in the Battle of the Bulge & was the first officer across the Remagen Bridge as part of the 9th Armored Division. Author Hechler was also at Remagen & part of the 9th Armored. After the war Hechler interviewed many of the top Nazis. Later he was an aide to Pres. Truman & served in Congress for 18 years. Signed on the half-title p., "Best wishes from Ken Hechler." Paperback book in fine cond.
