The first, the Spanish revolt against French occupation of Spain in 1808, led to the second, the Mexican revolt against Spanish occupation of Mexico in 1810. Out of the second came the third, the Texas Revolution in 1836. The heroes of the Texas Revolution are presented through biographies and renderings and their stories convey the reader through the numerous and horrible battles that ultimatly led to Texas Independence. .
