Unpaginated. "The Charles E. Tuttle Company first published this charming souvenir book in slipcase in 1957. It features the 53 woodblock prints made by Ichiryusai Hiroshige in1832 showing the stopping places along the road from Tokyo to Kyoto (the route known as "Tokai-do") and accompanying Japanese poetry. The book measures about 4 x 6 inches, bound in Japanese print cloth over flexible covers, and is housed in an illustrated slipcase. The prints are reproduced in miniature, each measuring 1.5 x 2 inches, and mounted on each page with a famous Japanese poem.
