ALS, the subject of this book is related to Lewy Body Dementia and PSP. These two diseases my parents had & are related to ALS. Jonathan Weiner (author) does an excellent job of keeping the reader interested. Stephen has ALS and his brother tries to find a cure. The reader will learn why research focuses or does not focus on some disease research. The complications ALS patients deal with are not dwelled on but are mentioned. This gives the reader who has dealt with other related diseases more of an understanding.
