About This Item

London: Chatto and Windus, 1902. First UK Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. First printing in English. Edited with a preface by Ernest Alfred Vizetelly. BOOKPLATE OF JAMES HUNEKER, WITH NUMEROUS PENCELLED ANNOTATIONS BY HIM. Incredibly interesting how writers view fellow writers. Spine slightly bumped and out of round, internally fine, with ads in front and back browned because of inferior paper.
