Paris: Librairie Renouard ... Henri Laurens, 1892. First French Edition. Three-quarter leather. Lithographic Plates. Thick 4to. Pp. xiii, 830. Title page printed in red and black, with a vignette. Color frontis. with tissue guard. With approximately 500 illustrations. Marbled endpapers. Bound in three-quarter bottle green morocco over marbled boards, gilt lettering and raised bands on spine. Original wrappers bound in. Spine faded to green-brown, with ends chipped; light foxing to preliminaries; small armorial bookplate on the front pastedown. First French edition, published a year after the first printing, a year earlier, in Brussels. A magnificent volume in solid, presentable condition. COLAS, 3020; HILER p. 881.

All books are packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. Every book is professionally packaged in a heavy cardboard box and shipped via US Postal Service, fully insured. Shipping rates are $3.50 per book; an additional $1 for every book thereafter. Sets and oversized volumes might require additional postage – indication of such will be noted in the book description. Those orders ship at cost. Other shipping modes are available per arrangement. Institutions will be billed per requirements.
