Paris: Paulin, 1836. 4to (265 x 170 mm), 972pp., frontis., illustrs., throughout, marbled endpapers, nineteenth-century green morroco, marbled boards, spine lettered and ruled in gilt, slightly rubbed, top edge gilt. Provenance: From the library of Charles Butler (1821-1910), Warren Wood in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The majority of the library was sold at Sotheby's, London, on 5 April 1911.
