COLCHESTER: PRIVATELY PUBLISHED Printed paper covers (Stapled paperback) 170 x 110 mm approx.36 pp Line drawings to inside covers + 6 further full page by T Moody. Undated [April 1947] The author states in the text that the early chapters were written to the accompaniment of German Flying bombs whilst the last chapters came in 1945 which marked the end of the war. The illustrations are also dated '45. An interesting read and of interest to visitors as well as collectors of books on Essex and Colchester in particular.
