Dublin: James Duffy and Co. Ltd., 1915. Book. Good. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Dark green hardcover with title typed on paper label on spine. The book was originally softcover, and this hardcover has been placed around it (several years ago), with the new endpapers pasted down onto the original covers. Condition: Fair to good, very light browning to text, binding sound, text clean. 206pp. Folding map of the cemetery facing title page (with small one inch tear to the left corner where it joins the page. Previous owners name on inside of original paper cover, and on the rear pastedown. Glasnevin cemetery was opened for interments in 1832. All the great movements, in one shape or another, that arose immediately before or after the year 1800, having as their goal the liberation of the good or Ireland - the Emancipation Movement, the Insurrecton of '67,the Home Rule movement and that identified with the name of Parnell are here repsented in this great necropolis of Ireland, either in leaders or their adherents. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
