Cape Town: OUP, 1922. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Fair. The plastic protected dw is worn and age-toned with a number of repairs. There is a 50 sq. cm hole to the back wrap [see image] coinciding with a smaller area of the lower board which has been gouged out. The boards are otherwise bright and clean with gilt titling to the spine and gilt ruled borders enclosing a gilt motif. Prev owner's details to ffep. 191pp. + many b/w plates. Contents unmarked and undiscoloured. Only the top edge of the textblock is trimmed. Binding good. Heavy volume.
