Includes illustrated half title page, frontispiece, color folding map in front, in text engravings and drawings. Brown cloth hardcover ruled in blind on the covers. Gilt illustration and a dried ink stain on the front cover. Gilt title, decorations, and an ink stain on the spine. Faded marbled text edges. Cloth binding is very worn with exposed corners and chipped spine. A pronounced lean to the binding. The right front flyleaf has been removed. Light to moderate scattered foxing to the illustrations and text. Folding color map in good condition. A fair copy only.
