Boston, MA: Historical Records Survey Works Progress Administration, Publisher, 1939. Wraps. Good. Printed blue wraps, with blue cloth tape binding. 572 pp., between the two volumes. No illustrations. An annotated survey/inventory of portrait paintings held in various places in Massachusetts, arranged alphabetically by subject. Lists artist, where held and other information. Typed gift letter from the Works Progress Administration tipped in at the front of the first volume. GOOD condition. Ex-library with a spine label on volume 2. No other treatments present. General toning, minor soiling, scuffing and creasing to the covers. Some superficial peeling to the paper at a few spots on the covers.
