With four folding maps of Mexico or New Spain (including California); the Gulf of Mexico, the islands and countries adjacent; South America; the countries on the South Sea, from Panama to Guayquil; and one folding plate. Divided into 10 books; books 1-8, relating to the discovery of America and the conquest of Mexico and Peru, were originally published in 1777; books 9-10, containing the history of Virginia and New England, first appeared to 1796.
