Gainsville, Florida: University Presses of Florida, 1975. Facsimile Edition. . Hardcover. Fine/None Issued. F/0/Facsimile Edition. This is part of the Bicentennial Floridiana Facsimile Series which was published to coincide with the celebration of the American Revolution Bicentennial. The author, George Fairbanks was the Vice President of the Florida Historical Society, and was the first to seriously research Spanish Records for his history of St. Augustine. Introduction and index by Michael V. Gannon, Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of History for the University of Florida. 200 pages, with maps and b&w illustrations, notes, indices. Book is clean and tight, no wear, buckram covers, with American Revolution Bicentennial 1776-1976 Florida and emblem on front and title with authors name on spine, both in red lettering. Lightly tanned pages which is common with this series.
