New York: The Macmillan Company, 1903. xx, 666pp, [2], publishers half calf and cloth, smooth back, title, author and publisher to spine in gilt, t.e.g., marbled endpapers. Chipped to spine ends with small amount of loss, front outer joint slightly chipped with a small tear across middle of spine, slightly rubbed to extremities, small patch of fading to fore-edge of upper cover. Light foxing to fore-edge of text block, internally fairly bright and clean. Presumably a publishers presentation binding, though no evidence of this. First Edition (US). Half Calf and Cloth. Good. 8vo.
