New York: Plate Renting Co.. Good. N.D.. Hardcover. Prescott explores the history of Spain's Latin and South American conquests in these two volumes. There is an Index in volume 2. This is a 2 volume set in the original maroon cloth covers; the top edges are gilt. TItle page states: "Library Edition," (there are no library markings in these books). The spine has lettering faded and the lettering is no longer visible, and the spines dull; there is rippling to portion of cloth on front cover by edge at spine. Previous owner name (dated 1905), else generally good, tight clean condition.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 376, 388 pages .
