Good bindings and covers. 57 plates (2 hand-colored); 3 maps and plans (2 hand-colored). Includes many Family Coat of Arms. Book plate of the Borough of Crosby Reference Library. Compiled "from original evidences in public offices, the Harleian and Cottonian offices, the Harleian and Cottonian mss., parochial registers, private muniments, unpublished ms. collections of successive Cheshire antiquaries, and a personal survey of every township in the county: incorporated with a republication of King's Vale royal, and Leycester's Cheshire antiquities". This is an oversized or heavy book, which requires additional postage for international delivery outside the US.
