With an engraved title, text vignette, folding plan, and 8 plates, engraved by S. Sparrow and others. Engraved illustration of Dover Castle on title-page is signed J. Newton sculpsit. Other engraved plates are signed Ravenhill sculp., S. Sparrow sculp., and P. Mazell sculp. Universal Catalogue of Books on Art I, p. 382; Lowndes 591-92; Bibliotheca Cantiana, p. 189. Very fine copy.
