Text may be light in places from photocopy process. Elders from Scotland in the 15th Century Emigrated to England and Ireland. John Ephram Elder with two brothers came to America and landed at Norfolk Va in 1669 and a brother one to Ohio and one to Michigan. There are also records of Elders serving in the Rev War. Joshua and David Elder arrived in Clarke County Georgia (now Oconee) on January 11, 1807. Joshua tarried in Georgia for a few years, they went on to Mississippi, David remained in Georgia and died there. The balance of this story and this book is mostly about David and his Georgia descendants.
