Volume I only. Contents include James II, William and Mary and the Protestant invasion of Ireland. Period Dark Blue Calf Full-Leather binding with Gilt Margins on front & back and Gilt Decoration on board edges. 5 Raised bands to spine with Gilt Lettering on Red ground in 2 compartments and Gilt decoration in the others. Endpapers and all page edges marbled. Bookplate illustrated with Armorial Bearing on endpaper and Portrait of Macaulay pasted on back of ffep. Narrow strip clipped from top of fly leaf. No inscriptions. Spine colour faded and some scuffing to front & back. Very small hole from insect damage on rear board.
