Dark blue cloth boards, gilt lettering on red patch to spine, gilt coat of arms to front board under grey dustwrapper with black and red lettering. 9.5ins x 7ins, endpapers show maps of Felsted in 1847 and 1947, 360pp plus 17pp of illustrations. The schools history is discussed chronologically with chapters on each of the headmasters. Appendices include a roll of honour and a list of Felsted school slang words. Previous owners name to reverse of half title. Dw (now protected) rubbed to top of spine and corners. Two inch repaired tear to front cover of dw near spine. VG / G+
