NY: Foreign Publications, 1927. VG/. 1st edition, 1st printing. Two oversized cloth portfolios with pictorial onlays and ribbon ties. Each portfolio contains 10 folders with 10 plates per folder plus descriptive text pages. The first portfolio contains China, Japan, Egypt, Assyria, Persia, India, Greece, Rome, and Orient. The second portfolio contains Rome, Gaule, Europe, France, Northern Countries, Great Britain, Latin Countries, Central Europe, The Three Americas, and The Primitive Races. This copy is ex-library, with stamp on verso of plates and markings on spine. First portfolio has spine tape repaired by library, wear on front panel, mising plate 4, part 7 and missing plate 4, part8. Second portfolio is complete. Some pages show wear at edges, in generally the content is very good.
