Reprinted from the "Journal of Society of Arts" June 12, 1891, from a paper read at te Society of Arts on May 14, 1891 by Thomas Wardle, Trounce published the article in book form in 1891, 47 pages dual column text, illustrated with great frontispiece engraving of the Great Buddhist Temple at Buddha-Gaya, Bengal, interesting text illustrations an map on one page. 9.75 inches in height by 6.75 inches in width. Book is perhaps Very Good minus, No previous owner name or book plate, publisher's green cloth with gilt title to front board and spine, wear to edge and corners, spine has wear as well, binding cracked in a few places internally and a few pages loose but still holding. Original end papers show rubbing. Protected in a new mylar sleeve. No jacket. Clean and Presentable Edition at a bargain price. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall.
