London: London Printing and Publishing Company, c 1860. Hardcover. Good. 4to.. Bound in contemporary half green calf with gilt lettering to spines. Edges and shoulders are rubbed. Undated, but written in 1858 by Charles Ball. Pages are age tanned with occasional foxing especially to prelims. Volume II has water staining to first 13 or so pages. Marbled page edges. Bindings are tight. Numerous fine steel engravings. Two double page maps. Previous owner's signature on fep. Postcard of a library pasted into fep of Vol I. Please enquire about postage as these volumes are heavy. 1860
