Hardcover set of three, as pictured; volumes II, III, & IV of the publisher's Historical and Philosophical Works of William Whewell, but complete in themselves. Light general wear, no jackets, likely as issued; spines a bit rubbed & faded with minor stains; ink date & name of University of Wisconsin professor of the history of science David C.
