1936. First Edition. Wraps. Red stiff paper covers, gilt lettering on front cover, 8vo, 96 pp. Genealogical work of the Magley family. Christian Magley (d.1839) married Elizabeth Flickinger, and in 1831 they immigrated from Oberbipp, Canton of Berne, Switzerland (via France) to New York City (Elizabeth died on ship, and was buried at Buffalo, New York). In 1832, the family moved to Licking County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Hawaii and elsewhere. No marks in book, binding tight. Some very light moisture stains bottom third of pages. No dust jacket. This is the scarce 1936 first edition, not the 1978 reprint.. Book condition VG-.
