"Sold by Subscription Only" as stated on title page. Previous owners bookplate, on reverse of frontis, states Mar. 1, 1901, so it could be an early reprint. Preface is dated April 5th, 1871. The top corners are worn for 1 cm. The frontis is loose. Page XV is loose as well. The rear endpaper is missing. All illustrations are present and there is light foxing throughout. Book is tight other than the faults mention. 415 Pages. Weight is over 1 lb.
