Spine ends a little bumped and rubbed, corners bumped and rubbed, light foxing on first and last few leaves, dust-jacket a little worn at edges, title page stamped in black with: "H*A*R*S GENERAL LIBRARY DONATED BY"; otherwise a very good copy. First edition. A comprehensive history of aviation - military, civilian, private and commercial - in New Zealand. Of special significance are the accounts of the beginnings and growth of New Zealand's airlines, the advent of cross-Tasman flights and the development of the country's military aviation.
