New York: Harper and Brothers, 1860. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 16mo. 368 pages. Hardcover in red cloth. Binding is rubbed and worn and has spotting. Chipping/fraying at headcap/foot. Spine is toned. There are ink marks on the rear cover. The bottom corner of the front flyleaf is torn away. Original owner's signature (Minnie Coster) is dated Christmas, 1860. Text is toned, has occasional smudges. Some pages are dog-eared. Complete with a color half title and 11 full-page and text engravings (for 12 illustrations in all).

Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual.
