Most of the 411 pages are amazingly clean, unmarked, and tight except for the following: mild foxing and small spots throughout, a stain at fore-edge of last 20 or so pages that does not reach text, a stain at top edge of last few pages, small fore-edge tears on a few pages, a stain at lower gutter of first few pages, small price sticker on front flyleaf, nameplate inside front cover, and soiling on outer edges of textblock; dark cover has embossed design with Lippincott crest in center, small abrasions, corner and edge wear, a crack along front spine, and chips from ends of spine
