A history of Saratoga County and of the villages and towns of Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, Ballston, Saratoga, Stillwater, Charlton, Waterford, Malta, Half-Moon, Galway, Edinburgh, Corinth, Northumberland, Providence, Milton, Wilton, Clifton Park, Day, Greenfield, Hadley and Moreau. Many short biographies of prominent, splendidly bearded men of the day, and two young ladies of poetical note, Lucretia and Margaret Davidson. Many engravings of Saratoga County public buildings, landscapes, residences and personages, as well as two hand-colored maps of the county, showing allotments and settlements; three hand-colored plans of British General Burgoyne's encampment during the 1777 Battle of Saratoga; a bird's-eye view of the Methodist camp at Round Lake; and a bird's eye view of the village of Schuylerville.
