The third and last of Samuel Richardson's great epistolary novels, 'The History of Sir Charles Grandison' was one of the most popular and important novels of the 18th century. It was one of Jane Austen's favourites and influenced her writing. She even attempted to turn it into a play, the manuscript of which was discovered after her death and eventually published in 1980. Heavy set. U.K. postage at default charge but overseas buyers will be asked for extra. Enquiries welcome. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
