London: George Routledge and Sons. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Undated, circa 1860, volumes I and II (of 3). Beautifully bound with red leather over spines and corners, 5 raised bands, gilt decorations in compartments, titles on green leather title plates, marbled paper covered boards. Spines a touch sunned but gilt remains bright, light scuffing to boards. Hinge and text blocks firm, marbled end papers and closed page edges. Internally the pages are smooth and clean, no inscriptions or book plates, abundantly illlustrated with maps and plans. Very well preserved.
