Printed exclusively for members of the Bibliophile Society, Boston, 1914. Limited edition of 453 copies.. Hardcover. Very Good. Small 4to, hardcover, no dj's. 2 volume set. Near fine condition in vg slipcases. Bound in original full brown leather, gilt spine lettering, top edges gilt; each volume housed in a double slipcase. Contents both volumes quite clean, no foxing, no markings or "thumbing" to pages; most page edges still unseparated (therefore unread), bindings & hinges tight. Leather boards remain clean & supple, unrubbed, gilt spine lettering bright. Outer slipcases lightly smudged w/ browning to paper spine labels -- slipcases otherwise sturdy, square and strong, no splitting at seams. 173 & 243 pp., tissue-protected frontis. plates.
