England: British Royal Navy, Underhill Printers, 1957. First edition, 1957. Publication commemorating the role of the HMS Albion aircraft carrier in the capture of the Suez Canal in 1956. Follows the story of the carrier from its refitting in Portsmouth in June 1956 through the completion of the mission and afterward, ending in September 1957. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos. Softcover, 24 pages. Some external wear, mainly edge rubbing, binding sound, pages clean. One note in ink next to a photo of an aircraft numbered 333 - stating "me in mine!" - this war purchased from the estate of one of the men who served on the Albion during this time period. . First Edition. Soft Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
