From the library of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., with his bookplate on the front paste-down. Inscribed to him by Fawre Harriman, his co-star in the play "The Pleasure of Your Company." Fairbanks (1909-2000) was an American actor (his credits include Gunga Din) and a highly decorated naval officer of World War II.
