(London), 5 x 7 1/2 inches tall green cloth hardcover in publisher's price-clipped dust jacket, black lettering to spine, period sepia advertisements to endpapers, illustrated with several unpaginated full-page photographs on coated paper throughout, index, 160 pp. Very slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a soiled, worn and torn dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. An unspecified early edition of this work first published in 1924. ~SP26~ [1.5P] Many of the drinks in this century-old mixology handbook have fallen into obscurity - ginger beer powders, grinto punch, ginger flip, white wine negus, dandelion wine, parsnip wine, athole brose, banana ratafia, damson gin, pomegranate shrub, 'brain duster,' Collin's reviver.
