Harper & Brothers. Good with no dust jacket. 1950. Hardcover. Signed by author on front endpaper. Stated first edition. Hard cover published by Harper & Brothers in 1950. No DJ. Black covers with gilt lettering, which is faded some, on spine. Bottom corners of covers are bumped and worn, and bottom end of spine is worn and torn. Bottom of back cover has a small nick by spine. Covers have some edge wear. Spine is slightly cocked. Front endpaper has a note about returning the book. Back endpaper has a price written in pencil and partly erased in upper corner. ; 8 X 5.20 X 1.50 inches; 248 pages; Signed by Author .
