Methuen and Co, Ltd, 1927. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1927. First Edition. 248 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with a colour illustrated frontis. Moderate tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper with heavy foxing and tanning to text block edges. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Boards have minor rubbing and visible bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and noticeable rubbing to spine. Splitting to joints.
