London and NY: Longmans Green, 1893. First edition, one of only 107 large paper copies, uncut and partially unopened. Bound in little warped and soiled parchment backed boards, library bookplates and name stamp. Library numeral on spine which is some worn and chipped. A nice clean copy other than the aforementioned binding problems. NCBEL 3: 1441. This is the first of three volumes that were devoted by Lang to the study of Homer.
