Synopsis

The story deals with themes of post-Soviet Russia, consumerism, recreational drug use, and Mesopotamian mythology. An English translation by Andrew Bromfield is published by Penguin as Homo Zapiens. An edition by Faber and Faber was also published in the UK as Babylon.
