Includes "Author's Note" not in the US edition (which was published by Harper & Bros. as The Carpentered Hen and Other Tame Creatures in 1958). 3x5 inch card laid-in signed by Updike. Upper board corners just tapped, foxed page edges; dustjacket with interior foxing which is apparent on the outside. Tight copy in Very Good condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. Updike's first poetry collection.. Signed Card Laid in. First Edition. Hardcovers. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
