Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1962. First U.S. Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 344pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition, bound in green cloth with titles stamped in gilt on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Perhaps a touch at the spine ends but barely. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($4.95), has a touch of edge-wear and lightly toned flap edges. A tiny closed tears on bottom front edge. Fresh and bright with no chipping or creases. A gorgeous collectable copy.
Synopsis
Hornblower and the Hotspur (published 1962) is a Horatio Hornblower novel written by C. S. Forester. It is the third in the series, following Lieutenant Hornblower.
