The Horse by Youatt; A Treatise on Draught by I.K. Brunel (The Railway Builder) and Appendix by W.C. Spooner. Numerous engravings set in text. Main text chap. titles include the following: Foreign Breeds, English Horse, Zoological Classification, Structure of Horse, Diseases, Breeding, Shoeing, perations, Vices & Habits, Management, Soundness, The Skin, Medicines, 72 pages on Draught. Size is 9" x 6". Corners bumped & worn, spine slightly rubbed, bookplate part removed from fixed front endpaper and signature of free front endpaper; binding sound and otherwise Vg . Very Good. Hardback. Reprint. 1868.
