Good condition rare item; 1944 second impression of 1944 wartime prints were sucessive due to paper shortage , second printing by Longmans, green and Co pubs; there are no marks inside this book, the binding is very tight, in fact it appears unread; the blue board covers and gilt lettering on the spine are vg+; sadly, the dj is very poor, with chunks missing; Uk dealer . Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition.. 1944.
